We all have the capacity to be creative. Creativity can mean something different to each person. We often think of creativity as professional painting or singing or writing, but creativity can be found in every aspect of our lives, from sewing to arranging art.
Creating art can have measureable physiological results, such as reducing stress, improving the immune system and easing physical and emotional pain. Art gives a voice and language to emotions, feelings and behaviours. Tapping into our creative energy can help us to feel more alive, gain inner wisdom and be more present in the moment.
In this workshop, participants can express themselves through writing, drawing and painting. You will be invited to combine words and colour with pen and paint, to find a place of healing and contemplation. No writing, drawing or painting experience is required. Just come with an open mind, be prepared to follow your intuition and be willing to get a little messy (both physically and metaphorically).
All supplies provided—just bring your playful side!
