Grief and trauma are experienced in a variety of ways- emotionally, physically and mentally. Our minds and bodies can react with shock, rage, fatigue, appetite changes, sleep disturbances and loss of concentration. How can we even begin to take care of ourselves? Why is this important when “self” is the last thing we are thinking about? Who can explain this concept of self-care in widowhood? Join this amazing panel of widowed men and women as they discuss the healing power of self-care in their own lives. Since the healing process is a marathon, not a sprint, it is imperative to stop at self-care rest stations along the way. Stop by this workshop to rest, relax and care for self!

Track(s): Newly Widowed: Help for the First Year of Widowhood Recently Widowed: Tools and Tips for those Widowed 1-3 years Middle Widowed: Hope and Healing for those Widowed 3-5 years Seasoned Widowed: Community Building for those Widowed 5 years and more Tools for Self-care and Discovery
