This session is presented by Teresa Beshwate The Sudden Widow Coach and Darryl Taylor of Coaching U Through.
When the unthinkable happens, therapy, counseling and grief groups are traditional ways to get help, and each can be beneficial. Although grief coaching is typically not the first thing that comes to mind, it is a unique and effective approach to healing.
In this session, two certified professional life coaches will briefly share their stories of healing and answer questions from the audience, offering a sample of a coaching approach to grief.
While Darryl Taylor and Teresa Beshwate attended the same coach training school, they have very different experiences of loss. Darryl Taylor lost his wife Alina to breast cancer after a 6-year battle, leaving him with their 3 children. Teresa Beshwate lost her husband Ted without warning as they were traveling out of
state celebrating their wedding anniversary.
The audience will find this widower/widow team, their combined experiences, and years of serving widowed people, to be relatable, relevant and helpful. Darryl and Teresa will offer practical tools that shine a light of hope.
