The grieving process is very personal and individual as are the outlets we choose to express it. Historically, art has taken on this mantra and the beauty of the depictions help create a catharsis of sorts and an understanding of the griever’s point of view. Exploring different forms of art that allow for tangible outlets in the grieving process, including an exhibit of artist Colleen Schindler-Lynch”s Daemon & Saudade can be both therapeutic and cathartic. This includes a Q&A with the artist. An opportunity to explore jewelry as a form of expressing grief, remembrance and love, all of which are intertwined in our grief journeys, will be provided.
