Grief (and its often-present cousin, trauma) can leave us searching for words and often exhausted by trying to explain our experience. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll create a simple mini-zine: a tiny folded booklet that can become a private reflection, a way to track your own journey, or something you choose to share with family and friends to help them better understand your process.
No artistic experience is necessary. Along the way, we’ll also explore other accessible creative practices—from writing and drawing to humor, storytelling, and everyday acts of making—that can support you wherever you are in your grieving process. You’ll leave with a finished mini-zine, new ideas for using creativity as a companion to grief, and practical tools you can continue using long after the workshop ends.
