Kathie Neff is a life long introvert who has learned to live in the extroverted world. Her need to renew herself in alone time is firmly rooted in her life habits. In her journey through grief that began in April 2021 when her husband of 50+ years died after a long illness, she is learning that grief adds additional stresses that deserve self-compassion and proactively seeking help and support from others.
As a professional childbirth educator and doula, Kathie’s role as a Birthing From Within Professional Trainer keeps her busy on Zoom educating birth workers from around the world on intentional and compassionate childbirth preparation methods. Her background in group facilitation and offering adult learning experiences inspired her to create this workshop. She brings with her the current lessons she is learning as a fellow traveler on the path of widowhood and grief.
