Toni Ward
In 2016, Toni became a widow very suddenly at the age of 38. Feeling the full weight of grief crashing down upon her, she found a new purpose in assisting the grieving community, vowing to use her experience in support of others. She went on to receive a Bachelors degree in Christian studies and is now pursuing a Master of Science in Thanatology. She has experience assisting the grieving in environments such as funeral homes, hospices, and churches and has been involved as a Soaring Spirits Volunteer Regional Group Leader. Currently she works as a certified grief coach, empowering her clients towards growth, resilience, and meaning making. Knowing what Camp Widow has done for her in her grief journey, she is always eager and passionate to give back and advocate for the widowed community.
