Whether you have lived your life as a Christian person of faith, or are just now finding your faith, you know the deep feeling of abandonment and the questions and doubts that arise when you find yourself widowed. As a Christian woman of faith and a theologian, I will help you find hope and solace […]
In 2016, Toni became a widow very suddenly at the age of 38. Feeling the full weight of grief crashing down upon her, she was able to lean upon her faith in order to get through and press forward, knowing that her life was changed forever. Vowing to take her painful experience and use it for the good of others, she became a Theology student at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona in order to study to become a Christian Counselor to those in her community. Actively involved as a co-leader of a grief group at her church, Toni also became involved with Soaring Spirits International and took on the roll of a Regional Group Leader in the Eastern Shore, MD area. She also volunteers at a local area hospice in Salisbury, MD, in support of their grief and bereavement program. Knowing what Camp Widow has done for her in her grief journey, she is eager and passionate about giving back to the widowed community.
