Tim O’Brien

Tim is a finance and human resources professional who lives and works in the Boston area. His late wife Keri died via suicide in November 2015. Tim is grateful for the strong network of friends, family, and professionals which helped him to reshape his life as a widowed person. This network eventually led him to his first Camp Widow, and he's always glad to come back and feel the love and support among the "club that nobody wants to belong to". Tim is newly remarried and the father/stepfather of 5 kids ranging in age from elementary school to university. He enjoys getting outdoors as a form of self-therapy, and has twice run the Boston Marathon to raise funds for The Children's Room, a local grief support organization in Arlington, MA.
