Dr. Tanisha Hamblin-Johnson

Dr. Tanisha Hamblin-Johnson has always believed in service to society, to its people and to its community. Tanisha has worked in public service for 18 years. Tanisha was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and relocated to Maryland in 2004. With over a decade of grants management experience, Tanisha currently serves as a Lead Program Specialist for Higher Education Programs. Dr. Hamblin-Johnson has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Management and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership and Management. Dr. Hamblin-Johnson is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Pi Alpha Alpha (PAA) National Honor Society. She is a charter member of the PAA chapter at Bowie State University. She also sits on the board of Youth Destined for Greatness, a non-profit based in New York City, that focuses on develop young women from the inner city discover the beauty and greatness that they possess.
Dr Hamblin-Johnson is also a certified Transformational Coach and is a partner with DestinyWorks, LLC, providing workshops that help people discover their unique purpose in the world. In her spare time, Tanisha enjoys writing, blogging, event planning, traveling, reading, watching tv shows and movies, and spending time with family and friends. She is the author of a weekly blog “Brunch with MS. Tee” and currently resides in the DMV area, with her daughter and dog.
