Nick Stentzel & Jonathan

Nick was widowed in 2019 at age 35 when his partner of 10 years died from Leukemia. Nick and Jonathan met unexpectedly in November 2021 and quickly fell in love. They were married in the summer of 2023 in Portugal.

Jonathan has attended two previous Camp Widow events in San Diego with Nick and has participated in other capacities with Soaring Spirits. Nick has attended five previous Camp Widows. He has spoken at various workshops including Healing Through Creative Expression, Men’s Support Group and Finding Your Tribe. He frequently participates in the weekly virtual Soaring Spirits Regional Group for LGBTQ people.

Nick and Jonathan live in Los Angeles and enjoy traveling the world as much as possible. Nick is a Photographer and Artist, as well as the Chief Creative Officer and owner of The ATS Team.
