Nancyann Fiedler

In February 2015, Nancyann Fiedler’s world was forever changed, She received a call on her way to work that her husband was killed just moments before in a car crash. Not wanting others to experience the pain and solitude she felt as a young widow, she made it her life's goal to help young widows and widowers. Understanding how much loneliness plays a role in widowhood, she founded a local South Florida widow group - SFWG - where widows and widowers could gather for social events - from concerts to memorial lantern releases. Nancyann soon became known for her organizing skills throughout the widow community and has planned and organized many events including overseas travels. Her goal is to encourage those who have lost a spouse to fulfill their dreams and live each moment of their lives. She is an administrator in several online widow groups that help in healing, love and loss.
