Jennifer O'Brien

After a 30+ year career educating physicians, Jennifer took time off to care for her husband, Bob, a palliative care physician, during his 22-month cancer illness. She kept an art journal during this time and for about 1.5 years after his death. Jen’s journal has been published as a book, The Hospice Doctor’s Widow: A Journal, which has won 4 awards. Jen is a self-taught artist. Since the publication of her book, she has helped others explore their artistic expression of love, loss, memories, and messages.
