Jeanette Koncikowski
Jeanette has a clinical and educational background in trauma counseling. She is one of the primary author of New York State's Child Protective Services Caseworker Training and has written extensively on child development. Since becoming widowed, she set out to write a book on widowed parenting (in progress) and has interviewed over 25 other widowed parents on their experience. Jeanette has been interviewed on the Widowed Parent Podcast (episode 10) and regularly consults with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network's Bereaved Families Working Group. She helped to develop their resource, The Power of Parenting: How to Help Your Child After a Parent or Caregiver Dies.
