Heather Morrow Brown
Heather Morrow Brown lost her husband to cancer in January of 2018. He was only 54 and had no health issues before that diagnosis. They had put off making a plan for the possible untimely death of either of them, not wanting to talk about dying and thinking they had "plenty of time for that". Because of this, there was no life insurance, no will, and she lost her job the same month that she lost her husband. The grief of losing her spouse was compounded by financial insecurity and she still had two children at home. Instead of wallowing in the devastation, she decided to do something about her future. Her favorite quote had always been, "Those who don't create the future they want must endure the future they get". Heather researched and studied to help herself out of the rut of financial ruin to become a licensed life insurance consultant and financial planner. She baked her famous cinnamon rolls to generate income to get her financial business off the ground. She now uses what she learned to help others. She teaches widowed people how to set up plans to protect themselves and their families, how to stretch life insurance benefits to last for years to come, and how to create generational wealth for their children and grandchildren. When we first lose our spouse, we are just trying to survive. Heather teaches others how to not only survive, but thrive.
