Grady Paden
Grady Paden is a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine, an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and an attending physician in Palliative Care. He provides palliative care consultation for patients and families at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, and palliative care education for medical trainees from all disciplines and at all levels. He is also a VitalTalk faculty member who teaches serious illness communication skills to clinicians in health care institutions across the US. Other professional interests include medical ethics consultation, and improving interdisciplinary team function.
Originally from Alaska, and still with strong ties to the largest state, Grady enjoys skiing and mountaineering. Other interests include studying music, swimming, and most importantly, time with family and friends.
