Debbie Geisenburg

Debbie Geisenburg has spent more than three decades exploring the challenges of addiction, sobriety and co-dependency and has had the privilege of supporting many others on the same path. That work led her to meet and marry her beloved husband, Jim. His death in 2009 catapulted the scope and depth of Debbie’s own healing journey as she came to understand the impact of trauma in her own life and in the lives of the people to whom she serves as friend and mentor. Camp Widow, with its focus on community and connection, has greatly influenced that healing process and she is grateful for the opportunity to give back. A proud mother of two grown sons, and devoted “Grammy” to her five-year-old grandson, Debbie works as a DevOps IT professional based out of Jacksonville, FL.
