Corey Dantzler

Being newly widowed just two years ago, Corey found himself lost and having a difficult time understanding and processing the widowed experience. Finding and joining Soaring Spirits provided him with a good foundation of how to navigate being widowed. He also found that providing support to other widowed people through the pen pal programs and participating in the weekly Zoom opportunities were beneficial to his own healing. Corey is a father to 4 boys and 1 daughter and credits their support to himself as part of his healing during his grieving process.
