AimeeJo Davis-Varela & G

AimeeJo was widowed in 2020 when her partner of 19 years died from a rare cancer related to her military service. Three years after her late wife passed, she was convinced she was not yet ready to date when she unexpectedly met her current partner, G, and quickly had a change of heart.

This will be the second Camp Widow G has attended with AimeeJo, and this will be AimeeJo’s fourth camp. She is honored to serve on the steering committee for this camp and to facilitate the Love, Sex, and Relationships After Loss Group for LGBTQ+ widows as a Soaring Spirits Regional Group Leader.

Aimee Jo and G live in Ventura County and enjoy road trips, game nights, and finding the best vegan food wherever they go. G is an attorney and a military veteran. AimeeJo is the owner of Mind Your Manors.
