Aidan Park

Aidan Park, also known as The Yay Guy, is the founder and executive director of The Yay! Foundation. TheYayFoundation.org He is an award-winning stand-up comedian and best-selling author of "The Art of Being YAY: The OMG NSFW Memoir and Guide to Authentic Joy," featuring a foreword by Margaret Cho. Aidan utilizes comedy and personal storytelling to spread YAY!, promoting mental and emotional health through funny and engaging educational wellness programs. Additionally, he teaches comedy as a tool for self-expression and connection, while producing comedy events to unite the community.

As a comedian, Aidan has two comedy specials available on NBC’s Peacock and Amazon Prime. In 2022, he made history as the first openly HIV-positive comedian featured on a major network. His comedy has been featured on NBC, Amazon Prime, PBS, CBS, the TV Guide Channel, Hulu, and Comedy Central.

With his foundation Aidan has created and delivered YAY! workshops and trainings using humor and personal storytelling for organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Widows Camp, Google, New Economics for Women, and more! Additionally, through his storytelling workshops, and comedy events, he has impacted communities all over the country impacting diverse communities including LGBTQ, widows, veterans, high school students, and Special Olympics athletes!
