Camp Widow Tampa

Tracks  [More Info]

×

Camp Widow® workshops are planned using a track system. The four tracks are listed at the top of each column and color-coded in order to identify which workshops are suggested for each individual track. The track titles and the suggested workshop schedule for each track were created based on feedback from thousands of men and women who have attended past Camp Widow weekends and the resilience research done at the Soaring Spirits Resilience Center at Schreiner University.

The schedule listed for each color-coded track are suggestions. You are not required to choose only one track, and you are welcome to create your own custom schedule that mixes and matches the offered workshop options throughout the weekend.

Our goal at Camp Widow® is to provide our campers with research-based tools and resources designed specifically for widowed men and women offered within a safe communal space that facilitates connection, growth and healing.

Soaring Spirits International (SSI) relies on a variety of talented volunteers to create unique workshops and presentations designed especially for widowed people. SSI is grateful for each volunteer who helps to create a peer-to-peer community focused on hope and healing for the widowed community.

The views expressed in presentations made at SSI events are those of the speaker and not, necessarily, of SSI staff, volunteers, or its Board of Directors. Presentations at SSI events, or the presence of vendors at SSI events, does not imply endorsement of the opinions and views expressed by the presenter.

SSI does not represent or endorse the accuracy or reliability of any advice, opinion, views, statement, or other information provided by the presenter. SSI shall not be liable to anyone else for any inaccuracy, error, omission, interruption, timeliness, completeness, deletion, defect, or use of any materials, regardless of cause, for any damages resulting therefrom.

Workshops are intended for informational and educational purposes only and should not be construed as medical, mental health, religious, legal, or financial advice. Participants are encouraged to consider a variety of sources when making decisions about the topic and encouraged to perform their own due diligence prior to entering into a business relationship.
