Dana & Curt Kruse

Dana Jackson-Kruse was widowed in 2008 when her husband Joe died in a motorcycle accident. She was only 30 and thought she had a lifetime left with Joe. She meet Curt Kruse online in 2015. She knew he was worth sharing her life with when she couldn’t stop laughing. They got married in 2018 surrounded by friends and family and 1000 hand folded cranes.

Dana is a research scientist and a nutritionist. She has been a part of Camp Widow and Soaring Spirits since 2009. Curt is a radio personality in Seattle. He has enjoyed attending Camp Widow with Dana and understands the place she will always hold in her heart for Joe. He has his own place at Camp Widow as the amazing CW DJ at the banquet. They’ve combined houses and dogs, enjoy the PNW, and living and loving after loss.
